Memories

July 17th, 2008

Got this from Melissa over at Trezza’s Take..

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I’ll assume you’re playing the game and I’ll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don’t want to play on your blog, or if you don’t have a blog, I’ll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Well, as you stated on my blog, I remember talking about all kinds of things with you. And, I remember you sitting on that ridiculously uncomfortable stool. But, my “best” memory is when you told me about how you weren’t exactly comfortable with people and doing customer service - that you always dreaded having to talk to customers when they came in. I could not believe it! I felt like such a freak because I pretty much despised having to deal with customers, partly because I always worried that I’d screw up by saying the wrong thing or something. It was amazing to me that you felt the same way because you always come across so self-assured and confident. I wouldn’t have imagined in a million years that you felt the same way I did. I felt a little better about my insecurities after you shared yours with me. Thanks, Shari!

    About

My name is Shari, I'm almost 30 and finally I feel "old enough". No kids, just a great husband who is different from me in just enough ways to keep it interesting. We have some lovely pet fish, but reading through just a few posts will reveal that I'm obsessed with all things kitty related. What else? Born in the midwest, raised from age 6 out here in the Southwest, I love all things old fashioned, but I can't go a day without my google reader.
